Established in 2002, Swinford Athletic Club is going from strength to strength with a total of 305 members enrolled at the end of 2016. With all ages catered for, from our little athletics (5-7yrs) all the way to our Masters (35+) our club enjoys the fruits of it labour winning medals across many disciplines. But it's not all about winning, our club is only as good as its members so we encourage full participation in competitions at whatever level, to represent your club and community is one step closer to success, so please come along and enjoy the camaraderie.

O’Connell’s Medical Hall was established in 1930 by Denis O’Connell. The pharmacy has passed to 3 generations of O’Connell’s and is now owned and operated by Eoghan O’Connell, a grandson of Denis. The pharmacy is located on Main St, Swinford, Co Mayo and is open everyday except Sunday. There is free on street parking outside of the pharmacy and new customers are always welcome.
We offer a range of services including prescriptions, blister packs, photograph printing service and free consultations with a pharmacist. We stock a number of top brands of make-up and we sell a wide range of gifts such as perfume, aftershave and electrical goods.
